Oh, did I really? Yeah the entire class is cracking up about rape all class, and  you comment on how I seemed “perturbed.” Sounds like a nice way of saying “bitchy.” 

It’s like my entire life being raised/recognized as female: you’re always accused of overreacting and being overly emotional. It’s never, “You seemed reasonably upset over my and your classmates’ insensitivity,” it’s always, “You seem pissed,” or something.

Idk how well this meeting is going to go over…

Everyone else: If this sort of thing happens, everyone should try to report it (and not let it go) as much as possible. A professor who allows and encourages that kind of rape culture behavior should be reported.
